This device transmits music from your Zune into an FM frequency that can be picked up by your radio tuner. You can automatically select an optimal station for broadcast using the auto-tuning Zune FM Transmitter. It often takes more than one station to stay tuned in if you drive between different regions with different stations, that's why the Zune FM Transmitter has two presets so you can easily swap back and forth between your most commonly used broadcast stations. To keep up with a long road trip, you can charge your Zune while listening to music in the car. The magnetic storage clip allows you to keep wires out of your way, and the dashboard grip pad provides a great place to rest your device in the car. It is compatible with all Zunes. Love this!Jul 27, 2010 I love this item. Works great with my Zune. Sound is good. It shows you the artist and song you are listening to on your radio screen. I recommend!
Zune FM TransmitterJul 27, 2010 So far it's been a great investment. The only drawback I've had was while driving through some big cities, I couldn't get a station that would play my music. It would either go static or play some other music - probably from someone else's car.
awesomeJul 21, 2010 i received it quickly. brand new as described. i opened it and set it up and it work perfectly. it charges my zune and transmits audio. easy to use. really good product for the price. the only downside is that the magnetic piece with the zune logo on the plug in thing fell off randomly.
Great ProductJul 14, 2010 I was scared to buy the car pack because of the mass amounts of negative reviews. But I went for it and ordered it. I love it.It does everything Zune said it would. The sound quality is great and i still get bass in my Jeep. This is a must have thing if you own a Zune.
Sound quality isn't that great, but I love taking my Zune in any vehicle!!Jul 12, 2010 I recently bought an older 30GB Zune from a co-worker for dirt cheap and absolutely fell in love with it! I wanted to be able to listen to it in my vehicles, but I don't have the Aux inputs on my any of the vehicle stereos. I researched all of the expensive docking stations that can be hardwired into your vehicle and thought those were just too much money and installation time. I heard the FM transmitters had poor sound quality, but for 13 bucks I figured what the hell? Well, I'm glad I got this. Because I live in a smaller city (8000 pop.), I can always seem to grab a relatively clear station to transmit on. I would imagine it would be a bit harder in more populated areas so keep that in mind. If you can't find a clear station, it is really hissy and annoying to listen too. The sound quality isn't that great but I could really care less. The only other complaints are that the volume level output from the Zune to the stereo is really low and you can't control the volume from the Zune at all, just your stereo. If you have a relatively newer stereo, it will scroll the artist, song title, etc. across the stereo readout which is cool. Also, there is a magnet on the back of the cigarette lighter adapter where you can place the transmitter instead of leaving lay around your vehicle to get tangled up with something.
